You may or may not have heard, but Caitlyn Jenner has recently, and quite bizarrely, joined a load of British celebrities on the U.K. version of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Anything for a bit of publicity, right? Anyway, Caitlyn has had a rollercoaster journey in the jungle so far but has certainly done us proud by competing heroicly in the horrific, insect-ridden tasks that come as part of the show. However, the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan have so far remained uncharacteristically silent about Caitlyn's presence in the jungle, including her partner, twenty-three-year-old Sophia Hutchins... Well, until now, that is. Sophia has finally opened up about her partner's time in the jungle, and she sounded seriously concerned... Keep scrolling to hear what she had to say.

We all know about the famous Caitlyn Jenner transformation.

Remember? When the gold-medal-winning Olympian and partner to Kris Jenner,  announced the start of her transition into a woman back in 2015?

It was a huge part of the bizarre public spectacle that is the Keeping up with the Kardashian's.

She came into Kris’ life after the death of her first partner, Robert Kardashian. She had 2 children with Kris (Kendall, and Kylie) and was hastily blended as a significant role model for all of the Kardashians.

So, understandably, the world was shocked when she transitioned into Caitlyn.

And, in true Kardashian-Jenner fashion, she came out on the cover of Vanity Fair. People marveled at the impressive transformation. She underwent her final operation – the irreversible gender-reassignment surgery – in 2017, officially marking the birth of Caitlyn.

And she couldn't be happier.

In her debut Vanity Fair interview as Caitlyn, she explained how liberating it felt to finally be open as a woman: “I have nothing left to hide. I am kind of a free person, a free soul. Up to this point, I would wear, you know, Bruce would wear sweatshirts with hoods on them so paparazzi can’t get pictures and all that kind of crap.”

Caitlyn insists that she is a nicer person than ever before.

When asked about sending a full airplane out just to pick up her Mom, Caitlyn explained: “I know. What I told her: “Isn’t Caitlyn a much better friend?” Bruce, he would never send a plane. No, no, no, what a jerk the guy was, O.K., Caitlyn is like, “Send the plane. Mom, we’re sending a plane, we’re going to go pick you up and bring you down here.”… It seems like she has a lot more friends than he ever had.”

Yet, despite Caitlyn being happier and more popular than ever...

The shocking transition understandably took its toll on her daughters, Kendall and Kylie. For the 2 girls, the birth of Caitlyn meant the loss of some elements of their dad. “My dad says it herself sometimes, it’s kind of like mourning the loss of someone, because it is,” Kendall said in a candid interview about Caitlyn’s transition. “My dad is my dad, but he’s not there physically anymore. But she lets me call her dad — that’s the last little piece of dad I’ve got.”

Though Kendall insists that she'd known about her dad's gender identity for years.

“It’s an adjustment. It’s something you have to get used to. But I’ve known since I was a kid,” Kendall revealed in the same interview. “He never confirmed it to me, but I’ve known for a very long time. It’s the same person.”

It's been a few years since the transition now...

Even though they have been through some pretty rough patches, the family seems to have worked things out. Well, most of them… But that’s a whole other story.

But Caitlyn is through with caring, she is living her best life.

The former Olympian has ventured out into the industry on her own. Though she has the support of her family, she is now looking into making up for lost time for Caitlyn.

Her latest project involves going into the jungle for 3 weeks.

Yes, you read that right. Caitlyn Jenner is hanging up the glitz and the glamour to go and get down and dirty with a bunch of British B-List celebs.

This isn't the first time she's been in the jungle...

Back in 2003, she went into the jungle, ready to tackle whatever creepy crawlie may be lurking around amongst the bushes. And now she is ready to give it a go again!

However, things haven't really got off to the best start...

Within the first twenty-four hours, there have already been tears. While everyone was fast asleep, Caitlyn decided to sneak away into the Bush Telegraph to have a little cry.

She claimed she had a "tough night."

She wondered if she was spending her time wisely saying: “I’m seventy years old now and is being in here the right way to use my time. Should I be home with my kids, playing with the grandchildren? I’ve never quit at anything I’ve ever done and I’m thinking maybe it’s time I learned how to do that!” When she woke up in the morning, rugby player James Haskell lightheartedly asked Caitlyn: “Did you wake up this morning and think “OMG, it’s real, I’m actually in the jungle with all these idiots?”‘

Her reply wasn't so lighthearted.

“No actually, I woke up in the middle of the night. I had a tough night.” Later on, Andrew Maxwell commented that Caitlyn had “been quiet all morning.”

But in true Caitlyn fashion, she put on her hat and geared up for the day.

Nothing was going to keep her down for long. She hyped herself up with: “The day has started, I have the hat on, let’s get it on!” That’s the spirit!

She decided to have a shower, along with fellow campmate and hunk, James Haskell.

Not together. Get your mind’s out of the gutter! James went first, as the rest of the camp poured freezing water down the pipe to act as a shower.

After that, Caitlyn followed.

Stripping down into a black bikini, the reality TV star had no problems in revealing her “new” body. She got straight under the blast of freezing water and gave us yet another iconic scene the jungle shower is known for.

You've got to give her props!

Even when she had freezing cold water poured on her, she called it “refreshing.” I highly doubt it was refreshing but I commend her positive mindset.

People all across the globe have praised Caitlyn for her bravery.

Being a seventy-year-old transgender woman under a constant spotlight, you would think she would be more reluctant or insecure about what people may say, but no, not Caitlyn Jenner!

But there's one thing that has got fans rather confused...

And it’s the fact that the Kardashian/Jenners have so far stayed so quiet. Now, this family isn’t usually the type to stay quiet on their family affairs, so many fans have been speculating as to what could be going on behind closed doors.

But now, someone has spoken out.

And it isn’t a Kardashian or a Jenner… But it is someone incredibly close to Caitlyn.

Caitlyn's partner, Sophia Hutchins, has opened up about what it's like having Caitlyn in the jungle.

Twenty-three-year-old Hutchins, who lives in Malibu with Caitlyn, spoke to the British breakfast show host, Lorraine Kelly, about what it’s been like to watch her partner in the jungle.

She admitted that it's been "gut-wrenching."

“It hasn’t been easy to watch at all when there is someone who is across the globe you kind of feel helpless, to begin with.” She told Lorraine Kelly on Friday.

Sophia has had no contact with Caitlyn...

“When you throw in these challenges and she is crying, it has been gut-wrenching to watch. The producers take away everyone’s phones so we don’t have any way to contact her. It’s tough.”

And she revealed that it's extremely out of character for the olympian to cry.

She then admitted that watching her cry left her feeling “ready to get on a plane.” Here’s hoping that Caitlyn can power through for the rest of the show!
