Wendy Williams is known for being outrageously outspoken and this has landed her in hot waters many times. But the backlash that she has received in recent months hasn't seemed to have sunk in, and she is under fire yet again. Keep scrolling to learn about her "disgusting" address to Corey Feldman...

Wendy Williams is a talk show host, former radio DJ, actress, and author.

Basically, this woman can do it all. She’s been in the business for a long time.

She has a long history of working in radio...

Wendy has an incredibly charismatic personality, so it’s no surprise she found success on the radio.

Her radio career spans back to the late '80s...

When she was eventually hired by a Philadelphia radio station, her candidness on the air helped the station jump in its rankings.

But she left her radio show in 2009...

It was time for her to focus completely on what would become her iconic talk show, The Wendy Williams Show.

The Wendy Williams Show has now been on the air for eleven years.

It first premiered in 2008 and has since become quite the daytime talk show, and if you’re familiar with the show at all, you’ll know that it has a legion of dedicated fans.

If you're looking for a show that has a pulse on trending topics and hot celebrity gossip, this is the talk show for you.

Not to mention that Wendy is a hilarious host, so it’s no surprise that the show has been on the air for some time.

But with her many pros...

Comes her many flaws.

Her lack of fear of holding back isn't always a good thing...

Who remembers the time when she said that nobody feels sorry for Meghan Markle? Now that was savage.

And another comment that ruffled some feathers?

In a recent episode of The Wendy Williams Show, she was discussing the recent backlash against Beyonce for not standing up during Joaquin Phoenix’s Golden Globe win.

Wendy rushed to Beyonce's defense...

Purely for the reason that “nobody is Beyonce,” which isn’t the most valid of reasons.

She made a comment about Phoenix, claiming that she doesn't even know who he is...

But she then started showering the actor with compliments in regards to his looks, talking about how good looking he is.

This is when things took a turn for the worse.

While gushing over his handsome and “striking” looks, Wendy went on to mention his cleft lip – all whilst mimicking it.

"I find it to be very attractive..."

She posed with her finger pushing her lip up for a painful 10 seconds while the audience nervously laughed. Not cool, Wendy.

People were not happy.

Many found Wendy’s mockery to be offensive and disrespectful to people who have cleft lips.

It seems that Wendy can't take this one back...

She may have taken it too far this time.

The backlash was staggering...

And, after days of relentless abuse online, Wendy finally apologized for her actions.

But, strangely enough...

Her apology wasn’t aimed at Joaquin Phoenix.

She apologized to someone else entirely...

The Canadian League Winnipeg Blue Bombers football linebacker, Adam Bighill, was one of the first celebrities to slam the TV show host.

The topic is very close to home for the sportsman...

Bighill himself was born with the condition, and his son, Beau, also suffers from a cleft palate. He recently shared a photo of his son shortly before his reconstructive surgery. “Today is Beau’s big day. He is getting his lip repaired today in Winnipeg by the fantastic Dr. Ross. Thanks to everyone who has reached out, and in advance, thanks for any of your well wishes for Beau.”

Bighill was completely disgusted by her actions...

And, since the show aired, has called for an apology every single day on Twitter.

And his persistence finally paid off...

Because Wendy took to Twitter to formally apologize, as well as announce her donation to various cleft charities. “We’re thinking about Beau today as he is in surgery. I want to apologize to the cleft community and in Beau’s honor, our show is donating to @operationsmile and @AmerCleftPalate and encourage our Wendy Watchers to learn more and help support the cleft community.”

It seems fair enough, right?

Wrong! Wendy just won’t learn from her repeated mistakes, as the latest episode of The Wendy Williams Show proved.

On her episode from Tuesday, she brought up Corey Feldman.

Corey Feldman is a former child actor who has recently been in the midst of public controversy after he claimed his friend was sexually abused by Charlie Sheen.

He has released a documentary about his experiences...

According to a report by Entertainment Weekly, Feldman’s movie entitled My Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys premiered on Monday night at a secret screening in Los Angeles. In it, Feldman accused a number of film industry figures of being predatory pedophiles who groomed and preyed upon himself and Corey Haim.

So with Wendy being Wendy...

She decided to address Corey’s claims on Tuesday’s episode.

"Corey Feldman, I am mad at you!"

She said that the forty-eight-year-old should “go home, sit down, and be glad you aren’t dead in the Bronx River for messing with such high-powered people,” – suggesting him speaking out should get him killed.

Wendy has known Corey for quite some time now, and he has appeared on the show before...

“Corey, you know I love you. We’ve known each other for a very long time. But you knew this was never to happen or at least, I knew it. While you were here, there were a few things you said, sitting on the couch, that I was looking at real crookety.”

Wendy warned that he won't act again...

“Like number one, that you will act again. No, you won’t. People aren’t hiring Corey Feldman, and he’s such a lovely man, but he’s part of a movement that is so necessary – molesting and raping children – so necessary but even as he was talking about promoting that thing for $20 we were supposed to be watching last night at 11. I knew in my mind and said ‘This isn’t going to happen’ but I put hot topics on it and paid the $20,” she went on to say. “And you saw, nothing happened. Now, I want my $20 back. Corey, you owe this show $80. I don’t even know where you even thought this was going to actually happen.”

She then addressed the content of the documentary that she was unable to watch...

“Corey accused Charlie Sheen of raping Corey Haim when he was thirteen-years-old. The two Corey’s are best friends but one of them is dead now – [Haim] passed away. I heard this before, years ago, I wasn’t shocked. I wanted to hear something different,” she said. “Don’t you remember that came out? Don’t you remember [The Tale of Two Coreys]? It was on Lifetime. That movie was really good.”

Even though Wendy said she had respect for Corey...

Her comments did not go down well with fans… at all.

She has been branded as a "backstabber"...

And many feel that she targets naive and vulnerable people… such as Corey Feldman.

It seems that it is about time that the future of The Wendy Williams Show gets seriously questioned...
